Ladies Soft Skills Mentoring Program The HCE Ladies Soft Skills Mentoring Program is specially organized for female candidates. The selected candidates will obtain the opportunity to engage with a mentor to further enhance their soft skills with real practical experiences. The mentoring program applies a coaching style to deliver the knowledge and skill as the candidates will act as the apprentices.
This platform has uniquely offered for ladies to influence our society in positive ways. We are striving to help ladies to avoid getting bogged down in the day to day career/study and personal life. It is important to educate individual to obtain a balancing point. Through this, we can help ladies in the fields of the arts and law find the feminine path to success and a voice in our world. As ladies, you have a well of strength and an eye on the future. Add to the capabilities you already possess, and nothing can stop the achievement of your vision. Reach deep, smile in the face of change and meet your potential.
HCE has done great research on Malaysian Ladies on the soft skills ability and noted that communication skills, confidence level, creative thinking, time management skills, problem solving skills and project management skills are the skills which required vigorous improvement.
This is a program which is supported by The Global Entrepreneur Week (GEW), Warisan Global (Malaysia Country Host) and Kauffman (Global Founders). The objectives of this mentoring program includes: -
Create the awareness of importance in developing soft skills
Increase employability or career advancement
Platform to apply acquired skills practically
Increase the usage of social media and networking
Equip candidates with new sense of confidence and competence
Enable candidates to manage team dynamics and high performance as capable leaders
Entry Criteria
Malaysian female aged between 18 and 30
All submission must be written in English
*Do not take this as a competition or challenge although we only select 10 finalists. It is the matter of you getting the insight of the selection process and knowing the importance of developing soft skills and enhances you to strive in the society

Participants are required to submit an essay with the title Why do I want to participate in this mentoring program.
Essay should be written in English and limited to 200 words
Essay and registration form must be submitted online via this email address

Round Two
Short-listed Candidates will be notified on the 17 October 2009 and invited to attend the Mentoring Program Introduction Day on the 21 October 2009
Selected Candidates are required to make payment of RM 30 per person
Round Three
Candidates are required to answer short questions via network anytime of the day
Procedure will be explained and individual password ID will be given to get access into this mentoring program forum during the Program Introduction Day
The duration of this activity is 5 days from 26 Oct 2009 to 30 Oct 2009.
Short listed candidates will be posted in the forum on 1 Nov 2009
Final
Short-listed individuals will be invited to attend the Self-Evaluation Challenge Workshop on the 25 Nov 2009.
Different soft skills abilities will be evaluated
All short-listed individuals in the final round will be presented a certificate of participation
Awards
Entitle to attend the Soft Skills Mentoring Program in December 2009 from HCE Organization
Given the opportunity to run a PROJECT during the program with the assistance and coach from the mentor
Training Workshops Voucher worth RM 500
A certificate will be presented at the end of the mentoring program
Elected to be the committee member of HCE Ladies Society
