What is LEP?
The Malaysian workforce landscape has been transformed in the recent years to one that is sound, competitive and well-diversified. To support the dynamic growth in the workforce of Malaysian young adults by preparing them to equip the necessary skills to face the challenges of organization’s demand, LEP is developed.
It is a sponsored program specially structured for under/postgraduate students to

STRUCTURE OF LEP
Phase I (Personal Development Training) – Self-Development Stage
1) Experiential training session
Attend the session to observe and experience
Day - Wednesday
Time – 8.30pm to 10.00pm
Venue - B-1-3A, Block B, Dataran Glomac, Jalan SS6/20, Kelana Jaya, 47301 Petaling Jaya , Selangor
2) Self-Evaluation Workshop (SEW)
It is to evaluate individual’s personal strength and weakness in terms of soft skills and provide you a starting point to equip and sharpen different tools to further develop and enhance as a student then employee.
Comprehensive personal report will be given with your strength and weakness in terms of soft skills with professional consultation session.
3) Self-Development Learning (SDL)
SDL provides a platform for you to enhance soft skills in learning and motivating environment practically.
You will have to attend a weekly training session on Wednesday from 8.30pm – 9.30pm minimum 1 month maximum 6 months (depending on self-progress)

Phase II (Application) – Leadership Stage
1) Practical Experience
You are given a choice to select an area of interest which you would like to gain the practical experience by applying the skills you acquired from your higher education institute within the organization.
You have the choice to select another area of interest after the first 3 months of practical experience in order to acquire and apply various skills.
You will have to attend a weekly application session on Wednesday from 8.30pm – 9.30pm minimum 2 months maximum 12 months (depending on self-progress)

2) Interview Experience
You will be given 3 hours intensive Interview Training Session.
You are given the opportunity to gain real interview experience in different companies after attending the training session (minimum 2 companies).
Entry Requirements
• Age 18-25 years old
• Malaysian Citizen
• Full time/part time students in any Malaysia Higher Education Institution
• Pass the Presentation Session & Well written Essay
Mechanism of Participation
Send in a registration form with the written essay of ‘Why do I want to participate the LEP’ before 30 April 2010.
Registered candidates will be invited to the introduction session to give a 3 minutes presentation.
(Date: 5, 12, 19, 26 of May – choose any of the listed date)
*LEP only limits to 50 candidates.
Successful candidates will attend the Self-Evaluation Workshop
