| Hi Miss Elaine, The extended Mock Interview on 4th November 4, 2009 request by my lecturer, Mr. Azrin is a good experience and good practice for me to learn from your interview session. The Mock Interview workshop is kind of interesting activity for new person like me to motivate and learn what a real interviewer will questioning and response towards my answers. In my opinion, I realize this kind of interview session is really useful for a person to practice for applying job position at certain local company or multinational company. Mock Interview workshop brings me an unforgettable experience along my university life. This workshop is a great company provides such opportunity to APIIT-UCTI students to motivate and gain leadership among group of students. I will definitely participate myself for this Mock Interview workshop for next time event held at APIIT. Kelvin Seow. |

| Hi, I am currently in my 1st year in pursuing my Engineering Degree and I recently attended the Mock Interview (2nd session) held at APIIT/UCTI on Monday.
Both your looks and presentation was great, very professional.
Overall, the whole workshop was great and beneficial to me. Do notify me if you are having other workshops of any kind at APIIT/UCTI again or anywhere else.
Thank you.

| First of all, I would like to thank you guys (with your assistant(s)) on conducting the particular workshop. On the speaker side, the way of presentation is good and the speaker's voice is loud and clear, making me feel alert throughout the short lecture. However, I can sense that there was an urgency of rushing for time. In fact, I found the whole workshop was a little bit on a fast pace (rushing). Not a big issue as I assume that was just a quick and simple workshop for my college and maybe the time factor was a constraint.
I felt the group interview conducted was good as I have only experienced before in one-on-one interview and not in groups. I have browsed through the official website. I have not joined as a member yet but are there any benefits of joining one? I see lots of discussion and forum. Besides attending all these workshops, are there any other ways for oneself to improve his/her speaking skills for an interview? Can an Interview session for a part-time job application be considered as a training? Anyway, thanks again and I hope to be informed of any updates about events organised by HCE organization.
Regards,
Jeremy Kerk (Apiit Student) |

| Dear Ms. Elaine,
I am one of the participants of the Mock Interview Workshop held in APIIT. The workshop was good as I gain knowledge which are useful for attending an interview. Through the workshop, I can see that you have good presentation skills and the atmosphere was made interesting.
I did not get high score in the evaluation. Thus, I wish to know how I can improve myself so that I can have higher chances of success in an interview. Furthermore, is it possible for you to let me know where do I need to pay more attention?
Thanking you in advance and looking forward to your reply.
Regards, Wong Wai Meng Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) |

| Elaine, I am Lim Wei Jing, foundation student from APIIT university and I would like to provide my feedback about the mock interview workshop. This workshop is very good and teaches student the keys to success in interview in future time. In the workshop I had learned about what are the attire should wear and should not wear when going for an interview. Besides that, I also learned about answering the question that given by the employer by relating my answer to the particular organization. Through the workshop, I was able to know what are the skills that I have so far and the skills that need during an interview such as soft skill. I hope that there will be more of this kind of mock interview workshop in future time as this workshop provide students more information about interview. |

| Hi Elaine. The MOCK interview section was interesting, meaningful and useful for the college students. I suppose you are a good speaker and thus able to make this section more fun and live. We felt not boring at all. Let's get back to point. Throughout this section, I realised that there are many many skills for me to learn, before enrol into a working environment. Indeed, soft skills and hard skills are vital, not only in working environment but in our daily life too. Besides, more or least, I know what an interview looks like, as well as the basic demands of the employers. Of course, I believe that the demands are getting higher if we want to be engaged into a big company. Now I know what I'm without, and I will keep on learning. After the 'interview section', i got the score of 6.4, which is a disappointing score. However, I will not give up, but put more effort on it. Perhaps, after a period of time, my score will be upgraded to a disctinction. XD Anyway, thank you for conducting the MOCK Interview yesterday. We are looking forward to see you again in APIIT. by, Kong Hock Him UCFF0907 |

| Hello Elaine,
I would like to extend my thanks again for giving me the opportunity to participate in your mock interview. It has shown me a lot about myself and what skills i currently possess as well as giving me an opportunity to better myself accordingly. Nothing is ever perfect hence continuous self development is assured. I particularly liked the group activity we had under your scenario. That gave me a chance to meet new people and test out my skills as a leader under a time constraint.
Non the less it was an excellent experience that i feel sorry for those who could not make it.
Regards,
Amour Walter Muro |

| Is of great pleasure having to hear from you.
I apologise for my late attendance and due to that, I've actually missed a great workshop conducted by you, as many said. Nevertheless, thanks for all your valuable compliments on me as I will keep up the good work in those areas. But anyhow, something very interesting in the email that you said that actually made me have a second look. You were saying to beware of the body language that I portray to outsiders that I first meet, may I know what kinda first impression did I imply? It would a gem if you could give my your very true and frank opinion on this, so that I'm able to further enhance myself on these grey areas.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best Regards, Christina |
